My First Tarot Deck

In December 2021, I began working on My First Tarot Deck, with the original intention to create a deck that was designed especially for beginners - even more so than the traditional Rider-Waite.

Something modern, relatable, and void of any intimidation factor often found when picking up tarot for the very first time.

Over time, the basis of this project has changed completely.

It has evolved into a story that chronicles the most important people, places, moments, and themes throughout my life. As such, it has quite literally become “My First Tarot Deck” as an artist, a storyteller, and a human being.

And yet, I still believe My First Tarot Deck is something that will resonate with beginners, because of the direction I’ll be taking with the guidebook.

My First Tarot Guidebook will aim to help you understand tarot by explaining the intricacies, stories, wisdom, and guidance of how I’ve connected my own life to tarot, and hopefully encouraging you to do the same.

Starting as soon as it feels right, I will be writing and sharing the stories and descriptions of one card a week as I work my way to finishing My First Tarot Guidebook - so be sure to check back here weekly for new chapters.
